Ward's still not 100%

True, maybe he could have kept the defense in check with some more throws, but, his legs were just fine. He's not as good on the ground as QF... On the other hand, UH clearly has no concerns about running him 20+ times per game it seems.

Houston's OL doesn't look good though and their RB would be 3rd or 4th for us. They could key on Ward because anywhere near the line, no one else was going to really hurt them. I saw they spied Ward quite a bit, I think we can combat that with some option and short dump off passes to DJ or MM (assuming QF gets the yips under control on the short passes).

We are a run first team. Our OL is a little more physical than Houston's.

Houston doesn't have to run the ball to be effective. Ward is a little more developed throwing the ball.

 We are 2 different offenses..

What? The response was to cincys DL being all over ward and that could make it a tough test for us. It was kind of my point that our offense is a bit different and our OL is stronger. So, QF shouldnt be under as much pressure.

Houston's RPI unchanged at #7 after victory, Cincy dropped to #72

RPI folks not giving UH any props for winning.

14-6 now

Hard to believe ASU's kicker hit twice from 54 yards. Serious leg!
