NCAA bans satellite camps effective immediately

So they ban these camps but deregulate Electronic communications....makes no sense

No. This is applicable only to they recruiting process or players not on the team. USF can still hold practices at Vero if they wanted.

As far as USF is concerned, who cares. It has little to no impact. Those of you who are pissed at the SEC need to realize that is life in CFB now.

You're wrong. The NCAA is a puppet of ESpin whom owns the SEC. Anything that hurts the SEC hurts ESpin and that can't be allowed.

Yes, I agree. If the B1G or Big 12 adds USF, that could circumvent the rule.

It also definitely helps kids with unstable home situations get in front of the coaches as its usually easier to find a ride for less than an hour drive than it is a 3 hour drive. 

Especially in a state with so many viable scholarship athletes those camps could only help them get noticed. Now can USF still do those in state ones? I thought from (admittedly skimming) the ruling only the real long distance camps were banned

So no being an unpaid "guest coach" at another school, correct?  That was happening everywhere last year.
