How are you going to take a commitment on a guy that is a PlanB...and let him know that he doesn't have a place right before signing day?

Looks like the kid got 7-10 offers in the last few days. Didn't see USF on the list, so who knows.  Pretty mature response from the kid, given how he was apparently treated.

Wonder if Taggart leaves him alone out of respect to Harbaugh (or if Harbaugh gave him the skinny, and suggested leaving him alone).

Not sure why Taggart would leave him alone, since he's obviously not a take for Michigan. I also doubt the coaches view it that way - Harbuagh didn't back off him because we had interest, so I'd be disappointed if Taggart did so the other way around. I also don't know why Harbaugh would suggest leaving him alone... doesn't sound like a bad kid, they just didn't have room for him at Michigan (**** move in my opinion once the kid has been firmly committed to you), but they are obviously after a higher-caliber player than we are. Seems like the perfect fit here, as long as Taggart being a Harbaugh guy doesn't sour this kid on him.

if that's his real offer list, he should be on the phone to Dartmouth or Columbia right now. The chances of an ivy league degree leading to future success are a hell of a lot better than his football chances.

He sends those types of tweets out everyday so it's not an exception for him, but who knows

True, but he also likes to be cryptic about talking about recruiting without talking about recruiting. Could also apply to the flip. All we can do is guess, thanks NCAA.
