...you realize that your team that sucked last year, sucks this year. Defense appears to be nothing special. For an "up tempo" offense, we seem to take an eternity to get the play calls in. Just crap play calling so far. This doesn't look good at all so far.

A rare accurate deep pass by Flowers, right through the hands of Adams. I can't recall a more frustrating sports team to watch than this team has been since Holtz' second season here. We had a +5 turnover margin against Maryland last year, and still found a way to lose.

How often does he have that amount of time where he can throw a perfect pass? Maybe it's rare because defenses don't normally give us that.

So if it is pointed out that Flowers is something less than perfect, that is considered "bashing" him? I would love to see the guy do well, but it's just a fact that he isn't the world's most accurate QB.

That is part of it Trombone. Seems we are in alot of 3rd and long situations as well. The talent on offense seems to be there, but they seem to be nowhere near their potential so far. Probably more to do with the play calling than with QF, but you probably won't see any defenses worrying about our passing game despite having some decent talent at WR.
