If I remember correctly it was the hottest kickoff temp they had at 97. We seem to gravitate to those hot games for some reason! Weather update looks like rain may hit earlier now with a high of only 78... going to see a ton of running on both sides. Yeah the ND game was brutal even for us. Walking around campus early and it was just scorching in that stadium until the "storm" came.

It was so hot that the first quarter hadn't even finished and we had to spend the rest of the game on the concourse. In fact, we were right near the medical office and at least 700 people required treatment. After that game I swore that I would never go to a day game in Florida during the first two months of the season, and to date I haven't. The FSU game, although it was hot, it wasn't nearly as bad as the UF game.

FSU was bad, but at gator game they were carrying unconscious people to get help. I drank probably 6-7 Gatorade's and water yet still felt like I was gonna die. Never again... About eight years ago at Uconn. My son and I would take heat breaks in the bathroom and run our hands under warm water. However, they did not run out of hot chocolate! At the home games we have the club section to get the little lady out of the heat if she gets fussy, I was worried about what we were going to do at this game if she got too hot. Good to know the temperature won't be brutal!
Guest
Hey guys - So there is a cold front moving into the panhandle tonight / tomorrow morning. The hourly forecast from the Weather Channel (weather.com) shows a 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms and temperatures in the 70s. To me this sounds a lot like Notre Dame... possibility of lightning delays.

Wind chill was in the single digits to below 0. Edited September 11, 2015 by Dhambuc
