Apparently he has been given his release to be closer to home for family reasons so they say?. ( He is from Winter Haven)    (not that far from UF, a little over 2 hours)  So the questions to be asked is 1. where will he go  USF or UCF.  We are the only two closer to Winter Haven than UF.   One would think Miami is out,  Miami is actually about an hour further away from Winter Haven than Gainesville.

2. Do we want him with his recent off the field issue( leaving Bowling Alley without paying for food)

That only makes me want him more. You can never have too many guys on your team that **** their pants.

I don't care what he does in his pants as long as he can play ball and helps us win.

We offered him at HS while UCF did not.

So hopefully that gives us an edge.

He's a running back, do you think he would want to come here? We have guys at that position transferring due to depth at that position, unless he is that much better than what we currently he I think we pass. Some reports say he was afraid he was going to lose playing time to the incoming freshmen, we need competitors not guys who shy away from competition.

He would most likely have to sit out this season, He is a Sophomore  so would have several years left to use.   He was a 4 Star out of High School,  Was the 173rd ranked player on ESPN's 300(15th for position) had offers from UF, FSU, UGA, Miami, Ohio State, South Carolina and Rutgers ,GA Tech, Illinois ,Alabama(according to rivals) and USF .

Was the MVP in the Bham bowl against ECU

So I say if we can get him, and he is not a "problem off the field" than we need to look into it.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
