Who are the players that you feel will have a chance to make this team into a bowling team?

Look at the past two years, we didn't have enough playmakers.

Do we have enough playmakers on both sides of the ball this year?

Defense

Harris

Calloway

Byrd

Black (I think he's going to be a problem off the edge)

Offense

Mack

I have us pegged at 5-7 this season.  I just can't predict a bowl until I actually see competent QB play on Saturdays.  If we can get just average production week in and week out at QB I think we definitely go bowling.

Flowers. Either he produces and we have a chance to go bowling or he doesn't and CWT is updating his resume.

I think we have enough young tallent now to go bowling if Flowers gets balls to playmaker and limits turnovers.

Can he do that is the million dollar question.

Most of you are counting on Flowers. Me, I'm counting on Bench, Mack, and Swanson. I think with the changes to the offense, Bench will be just fine.

As for Flowers, he's such an unknown player to me. And for him to come off that short stint from last year to lead this team in a few short months' time, that's a tall order. Bench, on other hand, has been around the block. I think with the right plays, he can do it. If you want him to get 10+ yards on 3rd downs, that's not going to happen, especially with the young receivers that we have.

Q: Are the coaches going to help the players by adapting the system to our players' abilities? -If not, that bus is taking CWT out of town!

Bench/Flowers. Doesn't matter.

Actually I am curious to see how the receiving core does.We had dropped passes that were critical in several close games last year.

I agree, Bench is the guy that needs to take over the starting QB spot. If flowers is starting, thats a bad sign. The problem ive noticed with Bench is that when he is pegged as starter, he struggles. When he comes off the bench, hes pretty good. Coincidence??

How many times has Bench been the clear cut starter and got the benefit of first team reps going into the game?
