  1. Think it's great we have some strong mentors on the line this year. Since the Selvie/JPP days, we really haven't had much experience & talent show up, so I'm glad to have what we have this year, and that they're working pretty hard for CWT. Can't hurt the younger guys' development to play against these guys and learn. We'll be thinner, but I don't think we'll have a lot of question marks--these kids appear to be pretty solid backups now, as long as they stay healthy. Guess we'll see in a fewof months...
  2. I hope we'll be able to hang 40+ on them, but we're an unproven product with weaknesses until we show otherwise. McNeese should be a good game to shake things down. At our worst, we're still not MTSU. 1. USF 2. 34-13 3. Pierre 4. Andre 5. 465
  3. It's the beauty of an early-season game. If we get in their heads from kickoff, we can do to them what we did to the Domers. Just hope our Dline is as strong as Mathies thinks it will be, and hope the Oline is in better shape than projected. So much of this offense depends on a strong line, so we may be hating life if they cave.
  4. Absolutely. He'll get a chance to prove his mettle, but if our team shines I think CWT gets on the short list for CotY. Loooonng way to go... By inheritance, though, Tuberville will have an easier time in his first year.
  5. Think that's why they decided to just give out the free bags--it's a little more "in budget", plus the Chinese labor was a lot cheaper... OK Riley Cooper wow, took that right to a dark place. Think economy & politics, not race.
  6. Not exactly a Leak/Tebow competition here, but okay. As a wise man once said, "It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future." I just hope we get a good field leader that can make good decisions and have a short memory when he doesn't.
  7. ^^ Some heart, and some freakin' strategy. If I feel that stuff I'm with you, I'll have hope.
  8. Now that I've dusted myself off, I never said that GOL didn't have to leave early to catch a flight. His interview session was earlier than the one you watched and GOL was in R.I. getting interviewed on the webcast, as well. Just earlier. Like I said, GOL's interview was posted by your own Greg Auman who was there, as well in his TBO blog. And yes, the AAC was well aware of UCF's early departure, thus why GOL was first up early. Man, you all just want to hate and create such a dark cloud over UCF still, it's funny. And SEC coaches like Saban wouldn't ever leave their conferences early. Y'all are right about that. That's because they schedule theirs 2 weeks prior to their practices begin. So taste that dust or whatever dust you mean, who knows. Really, is it going anywhere?
  9. Looks like streaming audio only, can get that from 98.7 site. Not sure about video without E!@N-3, if anyone finds/knows, please share site/link. Those of us out of state will definitely live on the stream!
  10. Think that's why they decided to just give out the free bags--it's a little more "in budget", plus the Chinese labor was a lot cheaper...
  11. Nice sample set of usfca alumni. If they can't figure that out...or if they're just stirring the pot, doesn't matter. I don't like 'em. Too much Cali Mary Jane, not enough common sense.
  12. Oh, I thought the team was the aspect that would prevent fans from rushing the field. Was my first thought, love it when someone else beats me to the punch! It's all fun, UCF'ers. Your year will come...but I hope not.
  13. A win in Tuscaloosa, on their homecoming, don't really care what UA's record was, that would have to top anything else they've done to this point ... It's actually a compliment, I think they've done better including that near-win against a top ten. A win in Bama is huge, but you'd have to go back to 1957 to find a worse record for the Tide.
  14. Sorry, link: http://www.ucffootballschedule.com/notable-football-wins.php
  15. According to a UCF football site, it was the win over Alabama in 2000 during their homecoming game 40-38. Bama went 3-8 that year... Should have stuck with the GA game, Knights.
  16. UT, I think that's awesome that they've held out with the site. You'd have to think those other schools offered to buy 'em out. One day, I'd hope we'll be able to shed the confusion with San Fran and just take over the USF brand.
  17. Can always pack up several 12x6 bags & tie 'em together. That wouldn't be a problem, would it? ...I'd love to see that.
  18. Might be a problem for more than just Houston. (sorry, couldn't resist)
  19. Wow, that's a 9/11-like change, will definitely bog down the entry process. Thanks for the heads-up!
  20. ^^ Teach 'em right, that's good parenting hb & slbpsi. "Say it with me, Billy, nnnnnooooooot UCF...uuuuuuuuu....SSSSssss.......fffffff. Go Bulls!"
  21. Most don't have the interest level in football enough to employ math skills and figure something out--it's an alien world and isn't subject to the same laws of physics/mathematical identities/common sense to them. It's like most of us men wanting to understand color coordination or romantic dramas. Kudos to you guys that have spouses willing to do this!
  22. Yes. x1000, yes...please! This is something I'd argue we've never had. On the CBS predictions, it just goes to show you how unpredictable this conference is--they must have some good debates over us. Hmm...USF high, UCF low--Is Feldman a USF grad or something?
