    It's a bad rule, it's horribly inconsistently applied, and the penalty when there are runners on base is ridiculous.

    Not the Cougars' fault for the refs' decisions. Rooting for them to take the conference. Best for the final BCS slot to go to a school that will actually be in the conference next year, and not from Orlando.

    It wasn't just the call on us that took back the TD that was the problam. It was the call on Houston for the exact same thing that was retracted, followed by an unsportsmanlike that gave them a first down. Maybe Houston wins this game either way, but the refs cannot be that inconsistent in their rulings. They had a direct impact on the outcome of this game.

    Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't redshirted players not allowed to travel with the team? I seem to remember hearing that was a rule after the Ben Flick tragedy. If that's the case, does the fact that White is going up with the team mean that the redshirt is coming off (regardless of whether he plays)?

    If Uconn is not going to have a qb then I would expect the bulls to do amazing on D It'll be fun watching every snap tumble back five yards. Weird game plan though.

    He looked like one of the best in the preseason... against 3rd string in an exhibition game i could get specific but the long and short of it is simple---bj was never an nfl qb NEVER He was and he still is, smazza. But seriously, why are you so adamant about condemning the talents of a kid who represents the school you claim to support? Everyone else here is excited to see BJ succeed, and all you want to do is come in here and piss all over it. You were in here talking this crap all through the preseason, and when he made the 49ers roster, you went silent. Then he gets waived and you pop back up, but since it was announced the Seahawks picked him up, you've again stopped commenting.

    Do we stll not know when this thing ends? Why do I get the feeling that as soon as it becomes 51-49 Sparty, the polls will mysteriously close?
