    lol this. I had absolutely no desire to go to there. Even though the game was good I am glad we sold out tickets.

    Didnt read the thread since its been done before but yes, obviously. I think they should just announce a fundraising plan of some sort to get the ball rolling. I would definitely donate a little. Just create an actual fund, like the Unstoppabull fund. Oh and 45k should be the absolute MAX until we can sell out regularly.

    I don't think anyone that actually knows anything about college athletics does. It's more of a fact that most "directional schools" don't have a lot of tradition and clout, USC being the exception. I don't think anyone looks at USF or UCF and flatly think less of them compared to UF, FSU, or Miami because of the South or Central in our name. I'd say it's based on knowing that there's more tradition and clout associated with the big 3. The directional school thing is purely a philosophical argument. Go to a high school outside of the Tampa metro area and you'll find that this is just not true.

    He committed earlier in the year but was talked out of it by family because they wanted him to think more about his decision... Some have speculated that his brother wanted him to go out of state... He recently recommitted and Taggart actually has referenced his commitment on his twitter account... I'm thinking it's a pretty solid commit considering his only real offers from other schools are as an athlete and not a QB... His numbers seem a little low for a high 3 low 4 star recruit but he doesn't have that much talent around him at his high school... other than that sounds like a great kid and someone that could make in impact either at QB or at another position down the road... cool. Thanks for the refresher.

    There absolutely is a bias. It is very prominent among high schoolers and dumb people in general. I assume that as leaders of higher education institutions, these decision makers are a bit more open minded and logical than that, but you never know. Unless you have a rich history and have been successful in the past (Miami, Vanderbilt, Louisville, etc) the University of *State* and *State* State Universities are usually considered the preeminent schools with the most clout. When USF was winning, it never mattered, and I cant say for sure whether or not it matters in the scope of realignment, but these biases definitely exist.

    I havent followed this saga at all and all these pages are just bickering with no real content. Cliffs on the story? According to our 2014 USF Football Commits thread, he is still with us. Is he verbally committed? Is he going to Alabama? Is he the next AW?

    Ybor is great during the day. Great food and places to shop and hang out. At night, I would stick to Central Ybor. Wouldnt do too much venturing. Definitely not a place for family at night though. Channelside is struggling. The area is nice but the shops just arent getting enough business and the rent is lulzy at best. You keep hearing about efforts to revive the place but nothing has come of it yet.
