  1. Assume you mean FSU in 2012 and also "just like" in ratio, UCF/USF fan, not numbers ... Correct on both accounts. Thanks for keeping me in check Trip.
  2. So you are saying that if they beat us we are then officially the worst team in FBS. Easily. I dont care if we lose to Memphis and UCF. An SMU loss would be BAD. Worse than bad. I honestly believe FAMU in 2011 was better. I know you never say never but I don't see anything ever topping McSU ... McNeese was bad, but at least they are a fst-paced, exciting team willing to try crazy stuff to win games. To be honest, they reminded me of the USF of 10 years ago. Has SMU even scored 10 points all season? They are literally the worst offense and defense in the country. Even worse than ours.
  3. I just dont want to be bored to tears watching the team. I dont mind losing as much as I hate losing 27-3 and not being competitive for even one play. Scoring an offensive TD more than once a month would be nice. If we played an entire season the way we played against WCU and Maryland I could live with the record, regardless of the result.
  4. I dont think attendance will be great since they decide to play football on this day for some reason I cant quite figure out, but I think UCF will outnumber us. We are in a rut and the fans arent interested. The students less so. UCF is coming off of a win last year and looks to make it two in a row, at our house. I dont think UCF fans will miss an opportunity to gloat and rub it in our faces. I think it will be just like the FSU game last year.
  5. that might be the worst loss in program history. srs. SMU is historically bad. Easily the worst team in FBS.
  6. Why is this thread still going? Should have ended here. There is no reason to come to these games besides going for the sake of going.
  7. Being patient is not the same as accepting mediocrity. Only spoiled children expect 10 win seasons every year. There are still four games to improve this season. If we could get some consistency at QB, I would consider this team improved from last year. This team has shown some real signs of life this season. Signs of leprosy too, but signs of life all the same.
  8. If he can start he can start, but I hope our coaching staff plays this on the conservative side. Would rather see him play after Saturday.
  9. lol werent there threads dedicated to how badly you guys wanted Taggart? I believe he was the top choice of this board.
  10. Hehe This comment, in combination with your avi, made me laugh.
  11. I only watched two plays on Friday as we were at a family gathering. The first was watching White botch the snap (we recovered). The second was watching us intercept/rip the ball from the receiver inside their 15....then watching White botch it again, and we didnt recover. Needless to say, I didnt sneak away to watch anymore.
  12. Played there a few weeks ago. Was in really nice shape. Really tough course. Lose like a pack of balls every time I play there. Must be really nice with this weather now.
  13. Was knowing how to spell the name of the sport part of your grade?
  14. I agree. With the exception of NC State, this team has never laid down and taken a pounding. All hard fought, frustrating losses. Lost to Maryland, ECU, and even Wisconsin after putting up an amazing fight imo. This team is significantly better than last year's. Still not good, but better. I predicted 4-8 at the beginning. I think it will come from SMU. Thats a 200% improvement.
  15. That was, The Taste. It had Bourdain, Nigella Lawson (who I love), and Ludo Lefebvre. lol my wife watched that one. I just enjoyed the outbursts from Ludo.
  16. Thanks NC. I appreciate you leaving a comment as well. She was pretty excited lol
  17. Dont normally watch shows like this but I enjoyed Master Chef with my wife a few seasons ago. Definitely one of the better ones out there
  18. I can see us winning 4 games. Nobody expected us to beat Cincy last year, yet we did. There will be games where we just come out in the zone and the other team might be off. Or we get really lucky with matchups. 4 wins doesnt seem far off as long as the Week 3 team stays off the field.
  19. Hey TBP, My wife started a blog a few weeks ago about positivity and things that make you happy. If you have time, please check it out and perhaps leave a comment if you are so inclined. 20. Disagree...as I think your new AD knows what he has to do after watching 3 straight home games in front of 142,000 empty seats. (Hint: Answer isn't staying at RJS) Mirin Join Date
