I didn't see Charlie Strong yelling at anyone. I think Louisville has done ok this year. Have you heard UL fans' assessment of this team? Sure they are happy with that record but their common gripes are the same as ours: 1. No killer instinct 2. Play to opponents (see: FIU, southern miss) We were both asking to lose. i think its reasonable to wait until the end of the season to fire the HC, but Cosh can go now. GT did it with their DC.

no one is expecting a national championship for fucks sake. we're sick of the blown 4th quarter leads. we're sick of the embarrassment. there was a thread about what we expect as a fanbase and the overwhelming majority just expect us to compete for a big east championship. right now we are 0-3 in conference with a loss to ball state. by every reasonable standard, this is failure.

This is what a coach that has a passion for winning looks like. (I couldn't care less about the folks up I75. Just happens to be a good example) They were up 21-6 at this point.

I haven't been able to do a fact check on this but here's what the word on the street is: We have given up 12 fourth quarter leads in the last 3 years. Think about the implications of this: 1. That's TWO season's worth of bowl eligibility 2. That's an extra 4 wins on average over the last 3 seasons. (Conceptually, we'd be at 6-1 this year, 9-3 last year, and 11-1 the year before) 3. We blame Cosh for a lot of our trouble but he's only been here for half a season. 4. This is too significant of a pattern to point to "depth". We are "deeper" than many of these teams. You have to point to clock and game management and the will of the coach to drive the dagger in. This is absolutely alarming to me and probably the strongest argument I can think of for canning Holtz. This is not an anomaly or a trend; it's a problem. It's a failure. Again, I haven't fact checked this. But we all know fourth quarter blown leads are becoming the norm and I don't need a fact check to know that. Alarming.

Guys this performace was unacceptable. For the 3000th time we had the lead in the fourth quarter and we blew it and you know what? Its on us. Because we have all the tools we need to WIN but for some ungodly reason we failed AGAIN. Fire me.

Please dont withhold your dollars just divert them to academics/other sports IF you need to make that statement. The OP made probably one of the most rational/sober arguments against the coaching staff I've seen. I need to see a MAJOR turnaround this year.
