    Really am I the only one nervous about this game? Short week, after the guys emptied the tank in Nevada, against an opponent we tend to struggle against, on a night that dooms us? I'm cautious about this game. I genuinely believe our guys want it more, though.

    agree about FSU and UF but Notre Dame is notorious for having a lazy environment and actually had to start a campaign called staND up lately to get people on their feet. god i love that we won that game though.

    The #1 key to this game in my opinion is rotation. You can have the best strategy in the world and in the 3rd and 4th quarter when the altitude hits you, you're screwed unless you're fresh. Rotate in the #2's early depending on the looks you're getting.

    Lots of criticism in this thread, few proposals for any alternative, naturally formed, football-history-related traditions. Ole Miss yells "hotty toddy" at games. At Oregon, a duck rides into the stadium on a motorcycle. We are not the first program to do something stupid at games. I get the point that it's silly, but until the nay-sayers have anything else that would even come close to what the war flamingo represents, I'm bringing mine to games. And if you don't like it, don't bring one, but kill it just because it's corny? that's not what cfb is about.
