    Drops get a pass tonight. Wet field. Wet ball. Wet hands. This is the only constant downpour in RJS history. It may have rained a total of 15 mins of RJS football on our 18 years prior to this.

    BJ's first play was a fumble, recovery by defense, ran back like 50 yards for a TD. I always thought his medical redshirt was suspicious.

    One thing y'all haven't touched on about why Louisville was picked is that they gave notice to the Big East that they were leaving before they were offered by the ACC. They took a risk and were no longer subject to the 27 month wait all the other BE teams were subject to. They gambled that there would be an immediate need for a team, risked ending back up in Conference USA, and won.

We chose ESPN over an NBC upstart because of exposure... but now they pawned us off to a CBS upstart. I don't quite get that. And ESPN slaughtered the Big East... just to build us back up again? Not sure I am buying this here. But I could be happy in this conference if we do become the 6th "power" conference. College Football is still better if all teams have a chance for a Cinderella Season, or the possibility of moving into the big time.
