    Speaking of Ric Flair, anyone know where I could get a copy of the speech he gave, maybe 1997 - 1998ish where he was about to retire... but then flung his shoes into the crowd and handcuffed himself to the ring? This spawned the while Ric Flair "The President" thing.

    The Big 12 would help us sell out the stadium routinely. Tulane, ECU, Houston, not so much.

    So. The American's "victory" in getting the matching contract with ESPN was exposure on the ESPN networks. Exposure that got our blog removed from ESPN and our games not being put on ESPN. Do I have that right?

    We play on the best playing surface in the NFL... and have space for an OCS... shouldn't matter. UCLA, USC and Miami don't have one.

    They don't want to play on Sundays, and therefore said no to being full members of the Big 12 and Big East. Conferences don't take that lightly.

    Texas is going to do to the Big 12 what the basketball schools did to the Big East.... suck the conference dry, vote only for themselves, then leave for greener pastures.

    I have a hard time accepting BYU would be given a second chance by the Big 12, especially after BYU said no to the Big East as well. And Texas started this last wave of realignment anyhow. The most revenue producing football program in college football is ruining it for everyone because they want MORE money.

    I think the trophy should be a full sized Cadillac or Lincoln Town Car with a 98 year old driving, wearing a hat that barely clears the steering wheel. Or a Canadian.

    The way government works is that any Czar appointed would be to "level the playing field" and "look out for all parties involved" to make sure "no one is denied acesss or resources..." ...But would really be Nick Satan's #1 booster.
