    We have something most other schools do not. A plethora of corporations surrounding the University. We may not have a T. Boone Pickens, but we have billions being generated here in the bay area. It would be nice if they jumped on the bus.

    I think we have done a great job on the public front, which is to say nothing about realignment, and say everything about being a good school for your current conference. Our only gaffe in this whole process was the revelation that we applied for ACC membership when UL, Cincy, and UConn did. Which wasn't that bad. Any future conference is likely going to put some weight on how good of a team player a member is. Cincy, UConn, Memphis and UCF are coming off cats in heat. It's not classy or respectable. They are acting like millennials, and we are acting like old schoolers.

    The one thing we have in Tampa Bay, compared to most colleges, is a mass presence of business and industry. We should be getting them on board as a source of revenue, an OCS. We have great internship programs, and our U has a Graduates Will Be Employed focus, but when it comes to our donor base, we need the corporations on the bandwagon.

    Obviously, when you have Dalvin Cook in your backfield, you should have your one ankled QB to heave bombs every play.

    If the P5 refuses to play the G5, and rankings are based on strength of schedule, I have no problems with a G5 champion jumping a P5 non-champion. This is really a collusion/anti-trust issue, however college football resides in a legal twilight zone.
