    A friend of ours is a WVU fan. He hates the fact that they can't easily go to away games. If given a choice, his would have been for them to stay where they were. Don't know if the schools are concerned about fans as much as money.

    Quit living in the 90's. The NCAA has set a recent precedent for punishing former coaches more than current schools. And I love the insults. Reminds me of 3rd grade. Come on. Don't stoop that low. Your posts have been excellent so far and I pretty much agree with you. Personally think a few more schollies should have been lost but overall you guys have suffered. And USF fans are jealous because none of our boosters are that wealthy or arrogant.

    Are you renting a car? Probably the best way. Also depends on which airport. Reliant, if I remember correctly is on the south side of town. Hobby Int'l is closer than the other which used to be Bush, not sure if it is still called that.

    He was supposed to give it a try today. Have not yet heard how it went. It was a fairly severe sprain but he was ahead of "schedule" whatever that entails.

    With the stars blanking out his first name I am assuming you are talking about Richie Allen. He was a beast. Came up the same year as the Giants Jim Ray Hart. They battled for ROY award. Allen used to write words in the dirt at Connie Mack while playing first base wearing his helmet. What a character.

    Yes. It will be blacked out on ESPN3 in the local area. Reason # 58392938575778238291929382848575636274737236362636 not to get fios Except BH stated a couple of years ago that last season would be the last that they were carrying college sports. So I believed them and switched. Plus their internet speed and reliability was killing us so pretty much had to switch.

    I agree, it's great to see her at the events and cheering on the Bulls! We went to the Monday Jazz night (or something like that) last Monday. In walks Judy. It seems like she attends everything. Would love to have her energy. Talked to her at an alumni event a year or two ago. Told her we were life members but that we didn't go to the school and didn't know what to tell people. She said "Tell them you are good friends of the University". We've gone with that ever since. with benefits? Sure. Get to go to numerous USF events.

    We were lined up 15 yards off instead of the 10 that is required. After their timeout, our guys lined up correctly 10 yards off the ball. It wasn't something he didn't like but something he liked. Unfortunately for him, our guys corrected it after their timeout and the rest is history. From what I was seeing they were lined up 15 back and then someone on the field started waving his teammates up to the 10 yd spot. That is when they called timeout. They would have had a much better shot at recovery before the timeout IMO. We looked a bit disorganized.

    Both are capable of beating us. But these are games we "could" win. Don't think we have a prayer against L'ville and @RU

    This is the same team that lost to McNeese and FAU but beat Cinci. So I don't think a loss to UConn on the road necessarily means we can't beat Memphis or SMU at home.

    I was talking about Leavitt. Skip never used his timeouts. I remember the Jimmer calling time outs before kick offs in the past. Edit: And I was trying to avoid another thread hijacking and purposely just left it as USF old time stuff instead of mentioning a coaches name.

    We may have him to thank for the win as much as our team. That time out before the kick off was vintage USF stuff.

    That win last night is exactly why you show up for the games if you can. You just never know what firsts you may be in store for. Usually this pertains to away games since a lot of us show up for all the home games. But last night was a great night despite not scoring a TD on offense. Will always take a win. Not quite the level of excitement as the first BE win vs. L'ville. But still exciting.
