    The Midnight Train to Georgia was originally going to be the Midnight Train (or plane according to some) to Houston. Some producer recommended the change.

    This would be the easiest thing. Instead of giving Iron Bull level and some other $$$ to the NIL, just raise the level needed for IB and don't make me stress over which is the best way to help. But I know CJF recently said NIL.

    So now, if inclined, we make contributions to the Collective or the Support Fund? This is all getting crazy.

    That's interesting since someone in the Bulls Club told me that the status changed recently.

    The dome dogs aren't horrible but nothing like the Hoffman Franks. Discovered them when Syracuse was coming to town for football and in our tradition of doing food from the visiting team's area, our daughter's friends who went to 'cuse told us about the Hoffmans.

    At some point, assuming paying the players is here to stay, the schools will have to figure a way to combine Bulls Club donations and collective donations in recognizing donor levels. I'm pretty sure the Fowler Collective is recognized as a charity as of a couple of months ago. I found that interesting.

    Crap. Part of my staying away was because that happened to him at a practice I attended a couple years ago and he missed the entire season.

    Wasn't trying to be melodramatic. I give to try to keep the players here and then they leave because someone from another school has more money than me. Call it what you want. Not a great feeling.

    IMO the only guy from this past year's roster that has any shot at the NBA is Youngblood.

    Then I can only guess they shouldn't expect me to contribute to NIL. Situation is changing in college athletics. If, under the old guard, a kid left to go to a better school or to get more playing time I'm in total agreement with you. Now that I'm paying into NIL I feel differently.

    If this basketball thing doesn't work out for him he could sell real estate, Bentleys or whatever he wants. That was almost good enough to get me to go ahead and buy MBB tickets for next year. Almost.
