  1. I have 4 season tickets, along with 1 parking pass - that I'm assuming will still be in Lot7. The seats are on the USF side of the stadium on around the 15 yard line about 15 yards up from the field. Section 113 Row P. Selling at my costs: 2 seat tickets - $540.00 1 parking pass - $105.00 donation - $100 TOTAL: $745 PM me if interested. Go Bulls!
  2. Interesting. I would have thought that with only 8 days away, there would too many commitments already in progress to staff RJS and have food/beverages ordered to hold this event. Yes - I realize that only a couple thousand people attend so maybe there isn't much prep needed. Maybe I should just embrace the more "intimate" setting and not think too much about how our program and event like this are so insignificant that the location can be changed just like that. Regardless, longer drive for me from St. Pete, but always enjoy getting back on campus.
  3. I'm interested in this as well. Tried GOUSFBULLS.COM for a sport wallpaper but they only have wallpapers from 2010 and earlier on there. I know I got the 2013 football schedule from there, but I don't see that listed anymore and was hoping to get a basketball schedule wallpaper.
  4. Geez - I feel like Ben Stiller's character after he spiked the volleyball and nailed the girl. Jeff - sorry if making my point came across a little harsh. I did not catch that you were still in school and you came across as someone experienced at the paper. Because of that I was more critical of your response. I commend you for making an attempt to defend your employer, but I hope this is a lesson that you better be ready to handle everything a disgruntled customer can bring if you want to step into Customer Service. As you can see, it takes tough skin to take the abuse intended for someone else. Seriously, no harm meant and good luck on your studies.
  5. That right-hand "scoreboard" section of TBO's website (it's the same on tampabay.com, just above the main image) where the box score of a specific game or an upcoming USF schedule is listed with the old Bulls logo is not run by TBO. It's run by a third-party service called "The Sports Network" and sportsnetwork.com, which supplies statistics and other numbers in real-time to most news outlets for their websites. It usually depends on the day, because I've seen both the old and new logos used in that info box. Rest assured neither newspaper has control over it. - Jeff So Jeff, what you're really saying is that you've seen it and you're okay with it or it isn't worth calling anyone. You could have left it at that. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you've never even tried to have any "...control over it." To say, "Rest assured neither newspaper has control over it." is exactly the point of this post and others on this board regarding the interest in USF sports. I'm betting you never even tried to contact this service (that I'm assuming you pay for to help provide your product to your customers) to attempt get them to quit using the old logo. Again why? Because it just doesn't bother you enough that our school logo is improperly represented to pick up the phone. You may ask, "Okay Boomer, have you tried to call them? My answer would be, "No." "Why not?" "Because I don't care enough to." There you go - it's that easy. My apologies. I was just trying be nice and clear the air about any misunderstandings anyone may have about the local newspapers and their relationship with the service. No apologies really needed here, Jeff. His post was ridiculous ... I'm not sure why some think this is either paper's obligation to fix, especially considering they don't control it and it's a pretty intermittent screw up to begin with. This is obviously DW and the Athletic Department's **** up to allow this to continue. Unbelievable. So if you hire a third party to do something for customers that you would rather not have to do and they make errors from time to time just shrug your shoulders and tell the customer that you've got no control over them. By the way, here's a tip - your control is threatening the service with going to a new service if they can't get the logo right.

  7. Downloaded the two apps I found in the App Store by searching USF - one for athletics and the other that is more of a campus/univeristy info site with maps which I think I'll find helpful. Of course I already have the bullspen on the phone Anybody have any others that they know about that would be interesting? On a side note, I finally went to the GOUSFBULLS.com site to update my pc wallpaper from the football schedule theme to something related to basketball and found the latest one they had was with Skip on it! There is a heading with "Football" and nothing under it, and I know there used to be when I got the 2014 football schedule wallpaper. Can anyone else see other options? Thanks.
  8. Didn't they sell a bunch of season tickets in the upper level a couple of years ago to FSU fans that wanted to be sure they got into the game against us? Wonder what happens when some of them want to keep them? I would think that if USF said they were sorry but not enough people have tickets up there so you have the option of paying more to move down, they know they would lose more than would upgrade. Does anyone on here have seats up there or been up there during any games? Just wondering if they even open the concessions on that level - I haven't been up there in years. Also, I know there isn't much that favor the Bulls in the whole Glazer/TSA/USF stadium agreement, but I wonder if the tickets we sell are postive for us and any opening/staffing of consessions, custodians, etc is on the other parties to cover.
  9. I don't care for them either, but my 17-year-old thinks they're pretty cool - and I'm sure USF would be more happy knowing that he likes them and not some 50-year-old.
  10. I agree. Almost seems he is fed up and wants to be fired. Keep the fire inside the locker room and your personal "short comings" to yourself all together.
  11. Are you talking about the ropes course or something else?
  12. No - USF has only fallen back into the dust where UCF was waiting. UCF looks to be climbing out so it will be interesting to see where these two programs are a couple years from now.
  13. Could you please post this week's LOTTO numbers while you're at it?
  14. Maybe. Martin and Bill Grammatica were very good. I haven't checked their records. Won't find any USF records for Martin - he played college ball elsewhere. We had the other brother Santiago.
  15. Funny since my local S. Tampa Beef'O'Ladies is a WUV Football headquarters ! I think they've been a WVU headquarter since before USF even had a football team.
  16. Someone must have challenged our offense to do worse than score zero points a game. They actually now have given the other team 3.
  17. I remember how pumped I was after getting front row 50 yard seats only to find out the front row was on the same level as the field and you couldn't see past the players standing on the field!
  18. I'd stay as far away from a bus as possible at this point. However, it would be cool to be able to store all your stuff in a trailer and then just hook up and go like that!
  19. True - maybe this thread should read, "If WE build it they will come" Takes the university and community support.
