Thought college was about preparing you for the next level. I'm letting the coaches worry about getting them ready to compete against NFL-level talent, and I'm taking care of getting them ready to accept NFL-level fans yelling their displeasure when they play bad enough to result in the worst defeat of a FBS team by a FCS team.
I personally don't agree with obscenities since players (and families around you) don't need to hear that, so when you think about it, booing is probably one of the best forms of communicating your displeasure. It's general enough in nature that those that are screwing up get the message, and let's face it - a bunch of people in the upper levels yelling different things won't make it down to field as a discernible message but that same number booing will.
I can't believe any of those kids walked off the field last night wondering why they were hearing boos and other things. If there were I hope they're not playing next week.
And to the psychiatrists on here that think I yell or boo to make me feel better about myself, I have to tell you I still feel like crap this morning.
