  1. Even 50/50 would be about 25k bulls fans. Abysmal amd I'm tired of hearing excuses about heat etc. So tired of excuses from this fan base. For a big game, that was utterly embarassing.
  2. Yeah, an edge was not set the entire game. Needed to go with 3 or 4 linebackers and have them spread out wide. I thought we would do that second half but nope.
  3. Would a bowl game win against a 6-6 our 7-5 sec team in Birmingham bring us national noteriety. I think it would help. I know that our fan base would be excited about it. I'm going to lose it though if we win 10 games and have to play a mac team in a high school stadium in boca. I will still be there but that would really suck.
  4. Everything was terrible and busch league about that game. The fans only got loud during 2 our 3 plays. Many fans watched the game from the concourse due to the heat, and only 20-25k bulls fans showed up. I couldn't have drawn up a bigger nightmare scenario for a that terrible game.
  5. Our fans are weak...fsu fans were there and not complaining. UF sells out the noon games. Why are we complaining. Like taggart says we have to be ready for any game day condition. No excuses!
  6. If we win out, I believe that we can still play a name team. If not, we're probably in st. Pete playing an underachieving team in a game that would only matter to the 10k bulls fans that are there. At least if we take care of business in conference we can still talk trash to all the tulsa and Tulane fans that we know.
  7. It just felt good to have some of them pissed after getting war chanted out of our own stadium after the game. Well you have to take what you can get in the non p 5. I believe in general, a 5 win p5 team is equal to a 10 win non p5 school...they both go to crappy bowl games and get about the same exposure. It's an all or nothing proposition for us now. Moral victories are all you got if you don't go undefeated in the non p5. I would argue that the aac championship is a moral victory. Not many would care outside of the few american conference fans.
  8. While the bulls and their fans took a step back from many angles Saturday. Many fsu fans I talked to leaving the stadium were disappointed and jimbo was hopping mad at his players after the game for playing so poorly and giving up so many points to an inferior team. I am at least happy to give those annoying noles fans some grief by scoring 35 points on them. Go bulls, beat cincy.
  9. I wasn't just referring to the students...that's why I threw the Publix sub sale in there...
  10. One of my least favorite looks...was hoping for something special.
  11. The problem with this game is that it is on a Saturday and at noon. Weekends just have too many other things going on to compete with and the students go home on the weekends. We also don't like showing up when it is hot outside. USF fans, do not show up when: Games are on the weekend, against unranked no name teams, day games when it is hot, when fraternity or sorority events are happening on campus, when USF is unranked, when the Gates or Noles are playing at the same time, when Publix subs are on sale, or on Fridays when there is high school football going on. We really need to schedule around all of these things to draw the crowds.
  12. Where is Keane? He actually looked like he could hit a wide open receiver...unlike flowers
  13. This means that if we win out, we will be looking at a 15-20 ranking probably.
  14. Did we watch the same game? The Ville had three touchdowns on the first 5 plays from scrimmage! I think traffic cones could have been more effective than the Cuse defense.
  15. Attendance won't get better until we start scheduling better teams...the average Tampa fan doesn't want to see us scheduling teams like Tulsa, NIU, and FAU. They want to see us play the Gators, Noles, and SEC schools. Until we do that, attendance will be poor.
  16. I think you would pick up Toledo and build a rivalry for Cincy and perhaps Colorado St. or Air Force out west because it is unlikely BYU would come aboard.
  17. It doesn't matter. All of the pundits are saying Houston doesn't have a chance at the playoff with two highly ranked OOC games because the American is so friggen weak. Our OOC doesn't matter because we don't have a chance to sniff the big time either way. Might as well play cupcakes and win the conference so that we can go to a major bowl game.
  18. That might explain why we have not accepted the commitment...
  19. Face it, if we don't win the conference, we will be going to the whocares.com bowl against the little school for the blind. Our bowl tie ins are super weak. With that said I will still be there partying my arse off.
  20. I think people got in his ear that we were not big time enough for someone of his talents....
  21. Francois has an amazing arm with great accuracy. He does stare down receivers though and goes through progressions slowly. He will throw some serious picks this year and if it weren't for his all world o-line, he would be a permanent fixture in the ground. Dude will develop nicely, just not expecting that much this year.
  22. Ironic isn't it. They created a monster that they couldn't control.
  23. I'm predicting 10-2 with a trip to the St. Pete Bowl to play Southern Miss. What an incredible season that would be!
  24. I originally started the DJ Law thread on here after seeing him play at Haines City High. Dude was a monster! We didn't recruit him that hard though...probably knew of the grade issues.
  25. Disagree...Holtz lost control of the team and Taggart had to rebuild the culture because the culture that Skip created revolved around excuses, lack of discipline, and softness. It was evident to everybody and Taggart mentioned it shortly after he took the job if I remember correctly.t
