  1. When we're winning. Still waiting on that tailgate he promised USF fans so many years ago.
  2. GoBulls84's Keys to the Game: Score touchdowns on offense Don't let them score touchdowns on offense. Maybe score some touchdowns on defense (you know, for funsies) Have fun Don't die out there fellas Chances are that the team that scores the most points at the end of the game will be the team that wins (unless we get hit with NCAA penalties for something and have to vacate wins, but that's not a now problem, that's a later problem)
  3. Goach has absolutely killed this year in recruiting. I'm excited to see what recruiting looks like going forward with a tangible product on the field.
  4. Giving up the booty to back up QBs is a USF tradition like no other. Davis might have a career day and then never play again.
  5. I think the service requirement kicks in after 2 years at the Academy (I wanna say I read that somewhere, but I could also be wicked wrong on that). Also probably still have some service requirements after college regardless of whether they finished at their given Academy or another university.
  6. So what happens to the Ooey Pooey basketball progrum? Are they separating into separate progrums, Ooey and Pooey? Who gets the record books? Do they separate that right down the middle too?
  7. I had a blast playing baseball growing up. Genuinely loved the game and had plenty of fun on game days (even though I was a terrible hitter). That said, it 100 percent feels like a different level of energy in a softball dugout LOL
  8. We'll know for sure we've got something if his JUCO coach takes his NLI hostage in an attempt to force him to Nebraska.
  9. LOL, whenever they've got runners on base: "Theeeeere's __ ducks on the pond, get another one on, get a hit right now, get a hit *clap clap*" I help coach our daughter's 10U team and they're a bunch of loud, rabid animals all season, so I take the offseason to heal my eardrums and purge the chants from memory LOL
  10. I don't know what this is supposed to be referencing, but it brought back to the forefront of my mind one of my daughter's softball team's chants that I had purged in the offseason, so thanks for that I guess
  11. It didn't make sense for UConn for the same reasons that they left the AAC. They were on an island, playing teams that their core fanbase didn't care about in football or basketball. Granted, the Big 12's basketball is much better than the AAC, but they already play basketball in a pretty good Big East, and football is second fiddle there. They would've been an even bigger outlier in the Big 12 than they were in the AAC.
  12. I did my part and bought the boy a BB shirsey when we were at the game against Charlotte. You're welcome everyone.
  13. I think he had left UConn off of a list of the highest athletic budgets among the have-nots/expansion candidates and made a claim that Memphis was a big candidate because of theirs.
  14. As Bull94 already pointed out, the Big 12 playoff candidate this year is already slated to go to the SEC next year. The other potential candidate that would've gotten bumped for Liberty even in a 12-team field is also going to the SEC. Out of the current top 25 in the rankings, the only ones that would have been eligible to make it would have been whoever won the conference out of Arizona (14)/Oklahoma State (20)/Kansas State (25). And going off the 6+6 model and the current rankings, if their champ was #25 Kansas State, they would have been out on account of both the C-USA and AAC champs being ranked higher. (Obviously if Kansas State had won the conference championship, they would have bumped them up over those two). As the current standings go, the Big 12 would have 1 team in the 12-team playoff, and that would potentially take the committee forcefully pushing them over two G5 conference champs. Will the Big 12 get two teams in here and there? Probably, sure. Is that guaranteed and silly to think otherwise? Absolutely not.
  15. Also have to consider, we started the season about a month ago and have played a grand total of 7 games and have twice gone more than a week between games. They're likely still tweaking the lineups and rotations to figure out what clicks best because there are a lot of new guys and there hasn't been a lot of consistency in the space between games. I'd expect the team to start gelling better in conference play once they've got more games together under their belt and the games are consistently every few days.
  16. They're big. They're fast. They're strong. Just don't die out there fellas.
  17. We cut the cord from DirecTV about 3 or 4 years ago, maybe more. At that point it was ever-climbing and upwards of $140 every month unless we called around the time of original sign-up month every year and asked them what rebates we could get (since they were always running the WAY cheaper rates for new folks). YTTV is about half of what we were paying then and we had zero issues watching any USF games this year between that having the Plus.
  18. There are few people on this planet I despise as much as Rick Scott, so I can't imagine this guy would make the cut
  19. Honestly, the way a lot of our fans felt about Doug Woolard, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a USF fan and we just let UCF fans take the rap for it.
  20. 247 has him rated at 87, which is technically higher than the composite score for him at 86.97
  21. US News and World Report has their total enrollment at 13,710 as of 2022.
  22. Buddy, have I got news for you. A good chunk of the seating will likely be bleachers. It helps maximize number of seats with less space. Home side/club seats/high donor areas will be the most likely to have seatbacks, or at the very least get access to the comfy seatbacks to put on the bleachers (my money would be on actual seatbacks, cup holders and such). The OCC dweebs get dunked on, not simply because of the metal bleachers, but because the entire aesthetic of their stadium is very much Fancy High School Chic.
  23. It makes us more attractive for two reasons: 1) It shows that even while we had down years, there is clear investment being made in the program. Between the IPF, the locker room at LRS, and now the stadium, the administration is making an undeniable investment in the athletic department. And 2) it gives USF control of athletic revenue streams. No more paying rent to TSA, no more giving a cut of parking and concessions and ticket revenue to TSA. It's revenue for the university that is a) paying down debt, and b) going back into athletics to further invest in the department.
  24. No, I can't imagine that. Mostly because there's no longer any such thing as a cool weekend in October.
