    Start fundraising now ... no time better than the present ... I can't remember the last call I got from athletics. I forgot to renew alumni association, got a call and became lifetime member. I even get calls from the college of business at least once or twice a year. Honestly, people forget to donate and it's good to have a friendly reminder. With a good cause I'm sure we could generate hundreds if not thousands (2-3) of new, albeit small donors with a decent enough effort. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I develop marketing and sales strategy for a living and I'm not a rocket scientist.

    I think taggart knew he has to pick a side (offense/defense) and go all in on in order to right the ship. I think the momentum is great, but do think we are reaching a bit too early. However, ill trust that the coaches know what they are doing and understand what we need for the early signing period. Some kids are good and underrated, but there are a few that don't jump off the screen on film. Either way I hope they all turn into studs and prove any doubters wrong.

    I'm encouraged by the difference in size/strength over previous years. I do hope we get a few high profile kids/highly ranked kids to pop. I am a believer in recruiting grades (not saying they are end all be all). They are an imperfect science and I know 2/3 star kids can develop and become stars, 4/5 star kids have a higher probability to develop.

    He's an old dbag. Could have taken the positive side, but didn't. He's got a point or two, but nothing that we haven't heard. However, his tone and positions in every USF article are negative. Hell, most of his articles about anything are nagatived. He's a hack, his bio is laughable, and he's a miserable ***** with 5 cats.

    Losing 2 of 3 to UCF and dropping the mid-week game hurt, but we can rebound by winning the tournament and hope for a chance to host

    I agree completely. Gators do that often for weekday games and save their top 3 arms for the weekend (arguably the best top 3 in the country). The are very willing to sacrifice Tuesday. I do like that our guys did what they should be doing to a 4/5 starter ... score. I also think we left a few out there.

    Need to enjoy this one tonight, but quickly switch focus on winning this weekend. If we lose more than one, then this win was meaningless. I love beating the gators, but most will view it similar to their other in-state weekday losses ... with a grain of salt and make excuse that their top 3 pitchers weren't going. Beat UCONN, Oviedo University, win the conference tourney and lets make some noise.

    I love politicians, especially the ones that have never succeeded in life prior to running for office. I don't live in FL, but the only way to make things change and for USF to be taken seriously is to show them the power of our voting block. Otherwise there is no reprecussion for voting like an assclown.

    Great for him. If he comes back great, if he goes pro great too. We need more pros, kids will continue to come if they think they can come here and improve their draft stock. Let's continue to produce more and I hope this young man makes millions!

    I think the problem is that graduates prior to the late 90s lived in a world without USF football and built allegiances for the "Big 3." We went 1A in what 2001? That's a lot of students since then, but the bulk of our alumni went to a USF without Football. The hope is that hey come back and adopt us back, but realistically they have "their team." Even the knats had lower level football that helped build a bit of a base for 20-30 years. I hate saying it, and it's not an excuse, but it takes time. Most of our graduates from a USF w/ football are just starting to make money, and a lot are still in their 20s.

    Definitely a great win and I'm incredibly excited for this team. However, it is baseball and it is one game. Noles lost first game of season/series to VCU too.

    Great win, but jump in polls will likely depend on outcome vs gators. If we don't win tomorrow, probably a few spots as they may "assume" a fluke based on bias.
