  1. Willie T was always a snake in the grass. I'm glad he helped rebuild USF and thank him for that, but you could always tell he was a snake.
  2. Not hard to do with a top 100 player over a pot citation. I'd have taken him here in an instant. They had a top 15 class with like 16-17 signees. Rich just get richer
  3. Good for him, as he gets to go to a pass happy offense. USF will still be here, but we will be full. I no longer want to be a landing spots for kids that don't want to come here, but can't make it elsewhere. If we get a transfer great, every school does, and it makes sense when a blue chip needs a landing spot. As for the fringe guys, they had their chance. I may be out on an island thinking that, but good luck to them...
  4. If it gets us a stud that had legit offers to Ohio State, Florida, etc. and his 4star rb friend ... just get him here and I trust Charlie will straighten him out
  5. I can't be the only one that every time I read one of his "stories" thinks "he has a very punchable face." I'm sure he's a very nice guy ...
  6. Glad the kid is happy. I was a big supporter of Willie T, but the number of "commits" he continued to recruit shows his true character. I completely understand that he's paid to win and recruit, but there's something more here as he's seemingly gone out of his way to stick it to USF. If a kid wants to follow I get it, but he seemed to chase them and ignore general traditions of respect. He obviously earned the Oregon job, but you think someone that was a 3rd option would be more greatful to the University that helped him grow as a coach.
  7. Pretty sure he just committed via twitter ...
  8. We should all chip in and make sure the best "recruiting guides" from Tampa make it to his room
  9. He's likely thinking that by allowing some kids like that in it helps to build a pipeline. Keeps relationships with coaches and keeps communication between players/friends. Actually fairly smart if he feels they have any chance to help the team. If you think Oregon has always been small and fast, kid could actually be an upgrade too
  10. Wouldn't it be great if we had a local reporter with the scoop on the situation or at least a magic 8-ball
  11. Great patience, vision, and burst. He may not have all the accolades that he deserves, but he has the make up of a pro. Will make a team very grateful for drafting him. Honestly the most pro-ready offensive player to ever play at USF.
  12. Yea, but they also hired Hiller from USF. Means he's gone
  13. If it brought a natty would you complain? I'd pitch in for one
  14. I think between 5,000 - 7,500 for any New Years 6 bowl that isn't in Arizona. Miami is three hours, Atlanta is 7 or a quick/cheap flight (10 min drive for me), New Orleans is a party, and Dallas flights shouldn't be horrible. Arizona would cost a bit to get to and would likely result in very few tix purchased. If somehow it was the Rose Bowl, people would go regardless for experience, but that likely would never happen. Tix to cotton we going for under $30 dollars on secondary market.
  15. I was snarky until 24-25, thought Odom was younger. If he's in that range I retract my statement and it's time for both to shape up or ship out.
  16. Word was he'd get a 6th year since he got injured before the season.
  17. Odom's a kid, I give him a pass on the "snarky" stuff. I don't care who covers USF, just as long as they are thorough. People love(d) Greg and he isn't always all rainbows and lollipops, but he's **** good at his job. He's a UF alum too. He is just incredibly thorough and consistent with content. He also seemed dialed in and broke stories first, which doesn't happen from Times reps today. If Odom can be that, great. I just don't think Joey can at this stage in his career or with his coverage of USF. Although I'm sure many will disagree, he actually he seems like a nice guy. But nice doesn't make you good at your job.
  18. Nearly every picture in his feed from yesterday is in past tense, maybe AJ is leaving? Hope he sticks around.
  19. I think Gilbert is a good OC. Would like to see TJ stay and be co-oc and still coach WR. Let them collaborate and build from each other, also the players seem to really love TJ. If we can keep King and the rest that would be great too, but some of these folks are going to leave for $ and to better there personal situation. Hell Leavitt, got double his salary.
