The last time I was at the Wok, parking was FREE!
Sure, if you like parking a 45 minute walk from the stadium. Unless you get there hours before kickoff, finding a place to park is a knightmare. You have to go from one dinky lot to another until you find an open spot. Parking at UCF is just one of the things that make it a poor gameday experience.
Maybe you haven't been to a college football game on a campus before..... it's an all day event... That's part of the problem at RJS... you can walk right up and not make a day of it on campus... visit the bookstore... tailgate... see the campus... Parking won't be an issue.
UofL is successful program, Their game day experience is entirely different from what you are describing. How many times will the average season ticket holder..visit the bookstore..explore the campus? IMO, most will do just what they do at RJS...those that tailgate will continue to just that, and those who arrive and head directly into the stadium will continue to do that. Compared to RJS, parking/ingress/egress will be a nightmare
Is Athletics getting rich from sales in the Team Store at the Dome?
I always thought that having an OCS might help with getting people to look at the campus. Visit the place. Have people from the city (assuming we are winning and they are coming) explore the campus and perhaps make future college decisions. Right now, our biggest sport is off campus, our campus isn't f
That said, parking needs to be adjusted on campus if we get an OCS. It can be terrible. And we need another larger set of parking decks.
