  1. Attendance is mentioned here. Also notice that we pop up in Cincy's "Cons".... https://www.bloggersodear.com/2017/4/11/15254648/conference-expansion-analyzing-which-schools-could-end-up-joining-the-acc
  2. I just read that SMU is pouring $150 million into their facilities to try to impress the BIG12 http://www.foxsports.com/college-football/story/big-12-expansion-candidates-most-likely-byu-cincinnati-houston-smu-facilities-upgrade-072616
  3. Our resume thus far....SJSU (1-7), Stony Brook (5-2), Illinois (2-4), Temple (3-4), ECU (1-6), Cincy (2-5). What's left....Tulane (3-3), Houston (4-2), UConn (2-4), Tulsa (2-5), & UCF (5-0). Unless 10 teams ranked ahead of us have to forfeit the season due to some kind of scandal in the next few weeks, a schedule that weak won't get ANY team into the playoffs. You might be better served using your energy just rooting for us to beat the remaining cream puffs (except UCF, and maybe Houston) on our schedule, and locking down that NY6 bowl.
  4. I believe so too, which is sort of a guess being the I haven't seen much of either QB. Some in here seem to think that we'll be 0-12 next year without QF.
  5. Agreed. Guess Charlie would rather sit on the lead and be conservative late in games, which is also fine I guess. Kean or Olakudun could have had quite a bit of PT this year though
  6. Tulane's coach will be on watch Saturday
  7. Against the teams we played, why not? We were more talented across the board against every team we played. Unless Kean is a total screw-up, we probably would be undefeated.
  8. Which is why he might be gone quickly. If he does want to take another stab at the big time, how much longer can he afford to wait? No telling what's going on in his head though. He can be successful here, and get paid pretty well doing it.
  9. Raymond Woodie will almost certainly be available to be his DC again.
  10. He might be in over his head, but if they know his history, they might give him that third year to see what he can do. Just saying, I wouldn't make too much of a rocky start at his new gig. He has a history of turning programs around. May or may not happen at Oregon, but time will tell. Will be interesting to see how he does with recruiting there.
  11. I'm not arguing whether or not he is capable of winning a championship, but if it's in his mind to take another shot at it, and a P5 school offers him that chance (and a lot of money), it's almost a certainty he is leaving. Muschamp wasn't all that great at Florida, and landed another SEC gig. Can't believe Charlie wouldn't get some good offers.
  12. When they keep QF in the game until mid-4th quarter in blowout games, they are generally still just pounding the ball, or having QF run, it's not Willie slinging it into the endzone with a 30 point lead and 10 seconds left. If QF is as irreplaceable as some here think he is, what's the point in that? There are several games where they could have had Kean/Olakudon in at the beginning of the 4th quarter, but they keep QF in there to mostly hand it off. Also strange that they are alternating the backups so much when they do finally put them in. Aren't they able to determine a clear 2nd string QB in practice? You'd think so, and they'd start grooming that guy.
  13. I'm not saying he is, or isn't, good enough, but the path is much more clear for a P5 school. I doubt Charlie is saying to himself, "I might as well stay here, I'm not good enough"
  14. That, and he may have aspirations of winning a National Championship. What are the odds of that happening at a G5 program.
  15. He got off to slow starts here and at WKU. Give him a couple years.
  16. Exactly. That's really my only beef with this staff now. They leave QF in WAY too long in these blowout games. What on Earth is the point? I'd really like to see them choose one backup, and get him some PT.
  17. The offense looks unspectacular, even though they are putting up good numbers, but I'm fine with that. I like the way they methodically pound teams and wear them down. Will be interesting to see what happens when somebody is able to stop our running game though. Love what I'm seeing from the Defense. Reaves deserves mention. The guy has been playing really well. Looks tremendously fast...
  18. Memphis did beat UCLA and Navy, two pretty good wins. That was an impressive walloping that UCF put on them. Memphis is better than anyone we've played.
