That would be before his visit to UM, if all the info is accurate so far ...

Hmmm....so it's USF and Miami? Maybe he really wants to play in the state of Florida. I guess there is some misinformation out there from the Keith Thomas camp about when he is narrowing things down.

I think if anyone could begin to land these close calls it is Antigua. He is ready to build a legacy at USF and I am excited to watch our program evolve!

Keith Thomas to Cut to Three by Wednesday

 

Keith Thomas, a 6-foot-8 forward from Westchester (N.Y.) Community College, will cut his list to three schools on Wednesday and is expected to choose over the weekend from among Miami, South Florida and St. John’s.

“We’re going to cut the list to three on Wednesday,†WCC coach Tyrone Mushatt told SNY.tv Monday morning.

Thomas visited St. John’s and SouthFlorida and heads to Miami on Thursday. He is expected to decide over the weekend “when he comes back from Miami,†Mushatt said.

St. John’s is looking to add frontcourt depth to augment Chris Obekpa and incoming recruit Adonis Delarosa, while new USF coach Orlando Antigua is looking to put his stamp on the program with his own players.

“Me and him talked this morning,†Mushatt said of Thomas. “The visit [to USF] was OK.â€

Thomas is also considering Fordham, Loyola-Chicago and Wichita State, among others.

Don't read to much into that coming from Zag's blog. I knew that "OK" would stand out with USF fans as a little downer. That was also designed to make St John's fans feel better as well.

 

Word is Thomas really enjoyed his visit to USF and I believe that to be 100% accurate. Thomas will also enjoy his visit to Miami as well. We'll see what he decides this weekend.
