That'll set them back the next 2 years. Holman had some ups and downs but he is clearly more talented that any QB on your depth chart. Thanks. I hadn't realized that. The rub was that you'd blindly start our castaways. Bres is a pretty decent DC, White is a bad QB. If we're trying to send you mediocre Trojan horses, the latter would be more effective. Going into the next season with the exact same staff would have been unacceptable to your new AD and some fans

In his mind, 2015 is already lost simply because Taggart is still the coach. We won't win more than four games next year and four is being generous. It doesn't matter who the OC, DC or STC are, what matters is who is leading the USF FB team at the HC position and Simple Tagg is just not fit for duty. How do we know he didn't. There was a separation. As the season went along, there were rumors of discord. I wouldn't be surprised if O'Leary had a good idea his DC was leaving and Bresh would have have been on O'Leary's short list. Plenty of intermediaries to line things up long before they become official. My guess is that it was a split with both sides wanting it rather than a firing for performance reasons. CWT seems to have great difficulty keeping staff members.

That's life. And UCF has snatched Bresnahan from the USF cesspool and will make him a winner. Welcome to the good guys, Coach Bresnahan! Apparently you missed the part where we fired him. I can see why you would like him though-his defenses were as soft as those silk panties you wear. Was there any release by USF saying he was fired? Generally with assistants it is "contract not renewed" since they are on one year deals most of the time. So that could be from either side. Again, I suspect he left and Taggart wanted to make it look like he was fired to save face.
