Can we just tell Harlan to have WUSF-FM drop the NPR crap and flip to all USF sports and air some hip Indie Rock?

Not if you want to keep some of the older (and more affluent) donors.

 

 

They can just throw on a couple The Who, Rolling Stones and Journey songs on for those guys, just to keep them happy ... I guess ...

 

 

I never got why people listened to classical european chamber music as they got older.

 

Give me the Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple any day

^ Actually I didn't mean it about classical, even if the futureUSFstudent meant that. I love classical but I can't stand the NPR crap--news, "comedy" specials, etc. For some inexplicable reason, rich old farts seem to eat it up, so they'll keep it in the programming I'm sure.

 

I'd enjoy a wacko mixture of classical and indie rock though...ok, even with some Robert Plant in there ;)

I know a guy by the name of Joe Kinnan that could be a great fit at OC at a great  price........

 

Hmmmmm and what do you know, Joe's name comes to the surface.

 

Let's not forget how everyone wa high on CWT coming from the Harbough Tree. Coach Kinnan will be perfect for USF and will increase the recruiting ability as well.

 

Watch the transfer requests start to pile up as well. Yancy at Temple could come back as well as some others.
