NCAA tournament is the only post season i count for MBB, I don't count the NIT, but any bowl game counts for football.

If that's the case, it's a bogus poll. The ST Pete Bowl is comparable to the NIT .... maybe even less.

How? 68 Tournament teams and 39 bowl games? I think it's comparable.

And more than a few of those Tournament teams are a lesser quality than teams relevated to the NIT .... just my opinion on it that the NIT should be included in the hoops post season.

I think you have to count at least NIT for post season for basketball. There are 78 football teams that can make a bowl. There are many more Division 1 basketball programs than Division 1 FBS football programs. There are 351 Division 1 basketball schools (with only 68 spots for post-season by your standards) vs 128 FBS schools for 78 available spots for post-season. Doesn't seem fair to me.

1. Baseball. 2. Basketball 3. Football

We did this poll last year. If anything, football is even further from the postseason than it was before we saw this season unfold.

The poll should be which coach gets there first... I don't think FB gets there with CWT anytime soon

I voted football since it's easier to make a bowl game than it is to make the NIT, especially in a weak conference. This conference is better in bball, but I think both teams make the post season next year (NIT, crappy bowl game). Both should be an option, since I don't think that's to far fetched.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
