Soccer is the only thing the Bulls are good at right now.

Don't forget about Men's Golf and Women's Sailing. :)

College Soccer News bracketology (Nov 6) has just one AAC making it to the dance. So, USF most likely has to win the championship game to secure a bid. Tulsa (RPI #40) might squeak in as an at large bid if they lose.

The Bulls will take on Tulsa, who defeated SMU 2-0 in the first semifinal of the day, Sunday at noon in Storrs, Conn. The game will air live on ESPN3 and the winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

“Tulsa is a very good team and we had them at home and they beat us at our place. It’s been a week where we’ve been getting teams back so we’re going to come out ready to play on Sunday.â€

You mean, that's why it has more fans than all three major American professional sports combined?

but not in Murrica, the land of the free and the home ... of ... the ... Bulls!!!

:D

Not sure if you watch any soccer from the Primere League, the Bundesliga, or La Liga. But the soccer there (especially from the top teams) is a different level, and is beautiful to watch.. Can't wait until the USA starts producing talent and skilled individuals that are able to play that style.

Fun fact: USA has had a boy, Ben Lederman, in development at La Masia (Barcelona's youth academy) for the past few years. First time ever an American was invited to develop over there.

We're still decades off from getting to the level of play over there.  The only thing that could speed that up would be the death of American Football due to concussions and CTE.  The US's athletic talent pool would go from a pond to an ocean which could really speed the development of the US game.  Top flight coaching and facilities being widely available would still be an issue but that's easier to remedy than a shallow talent pool.
