Worked out excellent for the last team there. They were crushing it in attendance.

And? I'll give you three reasons why it's not happening.

1) 1999

2) 2001

3) 2004

Those are years in which the Expos drew less than 10,000 per game for an entire season. 3 out of their last 6 years. Oh yeah, they also have a stadium that makes the Trop look like Camden Yards.

Maddon to the Cubs would ease the pain a bit. No better fanbase in baseball, IMO, and would be great if he could bring them a WS crown ...
