I think this was happening at the start of the game too. Somehow, the entire band was playing over the speakers even though the woodwinds were taking cover under the stands.

The prerecorded band was only played while the band was out of the stands and setting up for half time.  It was a recording from a live performance at a game, which makes it authentic.

 

What the hell is wrong with that?  At least something was being played instead of dead silence.  Are some of you never satisfied?  Do you find fault in everything?  You people must live a miserable, joy-free existence.

It's just silly, that's all. The band is there but they're playing recordings of them...just weird. I don't have a real problem with it, but it's just odd and a head shaker for me. But I'm a traditionalist in regards to the HOT.

Most directors wouldn't let it happen...it's either sacrilege or genius.
