USF baseball second worst program in the state?

I did a little amateur digging because I knew it had been awhile since USF made the postseason in baseball, but I had nothing to compare it to. I looked up the last time that various Florida baseball programs made the postseason and here is what I found: (please correct me if i'm wrong)

 

1.) Miami - 41 consecutive years in NCAA regional

2.) FSU - last regional: 2013

3.) UF - last regional (college world series) 2012

4.) FAU - last regional 2013

5.) Bethune Cookman - last regional 2012

6.) FIU - last regional 2011

7.) Jacksonville - last regional 2011

8.) Stetson - last regional 2011 (7 in last 10 years)

9.) Tampa - D2 Super regionals 2013

10.) North Florida - D2 championship series 2005

11.) UCF - last regional 2004

12.) USF- last regional 2002

13.) FAMU - I couldn't find any evidence of success from this school

 

What gives?

One thing I see is that your title is misleading since you included some but not all the D2 teams. Since I can change your 'worse' to 'worst', would you like me to change it to "one of the worst" or "2nd worst in D1"?

yeah, I couldn't find data on some of the D-2 schools...those were the ones I could find...I looked for Rollins and Florida Southern to no avail.

Florida Southern won the 2005 D2 championship...and UT won the 2013 D2 championship, West Florida won the 2011 D2 Championsahip... still looking for Eckard and Rollins. FGCU became eligible in 2010 but hasn't made it to a regional yet.
