Wow.  What great sportsmanship Kankava showed there.  Looks like he might have gotten his finger bit in the process, but worth it to have possibly saved a life.  That was a pretty ugly scenario, hopefully Gusev will be ok.

Also liked how the Dnipro players seemed very appreciative of Kankava for his actions.  I get chills when I see this kind of stuff in sport.

I can't find any follow up stories.  I suspect he must have someone in his family that has seizures.  The way he instantly recognized what was happening is one of the amazing parts of this story.

Besides that, it is already as popular as baseball among the young folks.  I personally expect it to surpass basketball in popularity within the next decade or two.
