Hear me now believe me later, Gregg Marshall is not that good of a floor coach.

 

This is one of the more inaccurate statements I've read on here. I've watched quite a bit shockers games this year and through the tourney, he is a fantastic coach, in all facets of the game. If he winds up at Marquette, they'll be a powerhouse again in 3 years.

 

All I know is that Rick Pitino would not have lost that game if he had been coaching.

 

 

Maybe, he also wouldn't have been undefeated with the roster of a MVC squad. And as pointed out, Pitino lost to UK this year.

The man made a great season with what he had. He definitely deserves to have his name all over the coaching map. Will be interesting to see if he can reproduce this level of competition next year.
