Louisville, Texas A&M, UF, LSU, Georgia. Just to name a few. If he's wanting to stay in California my sleeper to get him would be Fresno State to replace Derek Carr.

UF has last year's starter returning from injury, Georgia has a proven back up who come in for Murray  when he was hurt.

I'm not sold. He doesn't look like a well-oiled machine, having 3TDs to 6 INTs for his mixed playing time, and didn't stand out over the other USC QBs enough to get starting nods. Last thing we need is another middle-of-the-road QB that may or may not pan out. He's looking for a starting lock anyway, and I don't think he gets that with us--just a competition.

Only reason I'm not sold on him is while USC did run a more pro-style offense, that I'm sure he could adapt to here at USF, he'd be a one and done.

Max has 2 years of eligibility.

Ah thanks, now that can be promising. Though with the other schools being listed, perhaps USF is best off sitting this one out and developing our own guys for once (unless Wittek actually calls Willie with interest).

For what? Telling all the west coast talent to run from USF and save themselves?

I think we need better representation.

Smazza believes he can be USF AD, and he is capable of it. If Smazza can be USF AD, then he can be an awesome recruiter for USF-after all, being AD would mean he has to sell the school to people.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
