I'll help out by saying this, there hasn't been any inside talks leak or even a hopeful rumor surface regarding any Big 12 invite for UCF from any of the UCF premium boards. Not to say that these things couldn't be held back from leaking, but if UCF had an invite to the big 12, we'd hear at least a rumbling. There's been nothing.

Second, y'all need to look at the real reasons before wondering about UCF's future being involved. If UCF had an influence, then watching UCF win a BCS Bowl in one year after USF had 8 shots, producing a likely 1st rd QB draft pick, possibly top 5, 3/4 ten plus win seasons, losing to UCF on national TV in front of a packed UCF house to boot, not to mention attendance falling in the 15k range for USF, not reaching a bowl in 3 years, getting blown out by an FCS school and FAU, add in paying Holtz and and a new HC at the same time ticking off the state.

Guys, you're scared about Woolard being fired because of a possible P5 invite for UCF. You need to realize that it's probably due to a lot more than that. Think about it.

When your team gets shredded at RJS next year are you gonna squirt a few and tinkle in your panties, GoldenShower?  Take a hike to the AAC board Jabroni.

I doubt it but I can see why the are favorable. UCF has won 10, 11 and 12 games in the past four seasons. They have good facilities and solid fan support. My brother is a high school coach in Georgia and says Tyler Harris is the real deal and with their WR's won't miss a beat.

As I said, doubt the big 12 wants them but they look much better than we do.

Yeah, UCF is suddenly attractive because of a quarterback recruit who hasn't even set foot on campus yet and because they won a bunch of games against sorry-ass competition (including this year's AAC). Right.

Youre being short sighted. They have won everywhere they have played, us, not so much. Make fun of their tin can stadium but other schools understand what that means to have. Also, say what you want but their President is viewed very favorably in athletic circles. More than anything, they had great tv ratings in Orlando this year, that is a powerful thing to show.

Winning and losing have nothing to do with anything. See: Rutgers, losers in the Big 10. See: Boise State, big winners, still on the outside looking in. Pitt haven't won **** lately, Syracuse ditto, both are now in the ACC.

And UCF's TV ratings were decent in the Orlando market specifically, but nationwide? Not so much. It's going to take more than a single season of a few games getting decent ratings to make them attractive.

UCF isn't going to the Big XII, and that's pretty much the end of it. Believe they are if you want, but time will prove you wrong.

I'm not saying UCF has gotten any invite or close to it for the big 12. But the TV ratings locally are the prime focus on evaluating a team and whether they can or can not bring a TV market. National TV is not a TV market. It's all about sets on that team in that market.

I agree, but UCF's local TV ratings were only remotely impressive for a small number of games for a single season. It's totally meaningless at this point.

I do disagree that nationwide ratings are meaningless though. Both are important, though local ratings are probably the more important of the two.

This didn't need it's own thread.

Yes it did, so it could be moved.

Buddy of mine (booster) says it was from basketball violations with players/recruits and Judy is using it as cause to remove the under-performing AD and start an immediate nation wide search for a replacement. Let's be honest folks, Judy's job relies on this next AD working out...If not she gets the can next.

I don't think there is a chance. USF continues to make the kinds of academic strides, research funding strides, and things outside of sports and Judy could cancel football. I know this is a sports message board and we all live and die based on how 18 - 22 year old kids perform at one or two key sports, but that isn't how anyone who matters measures USF (or any other institution for that matter).

It can when athletics has room to bring in a substantial amount more of money. She blew the TV deal.

+1

She blocked an espn deal for a 10 school league , Woulard is getting the blame but she is calling the shots and is the problem. Starts from the Top
