Similar to an SEC sporting event, we all were given green and gold pom poms in the student section last night, and it actually made it have a more energetic feel since the student section was almost full. I wonder if it was a one time thing or is it going to start being at every basketball game, and possibly at football games too?

Was awesome. As a student I am proud of our atmosphere. The "**** you bama" chants were not classy at all but they happened, oh well.

Yeah that was annoying. The Auburn chant was priceless! Really upset the visiting Bama fans, and just Bama fans altogether on Twitter.

Man, I was wondering what some of the chants were besides "Auuuuuu-burn" ... I thought that may have been one that I heard but was hoping it wasn't. That is really not cool, especially on a nationally televised game. You at least save that crap for a rival, if you've got to do it at all ... but I do realize that a majority of students are new to this kind of thing and it will get straightened out. Kind of surprised JG didn't go up to the section and say something.

Luckily it was not many people doing it. It was just a small segment of people up in the 300 area of the Student Section who were loud.

May not have been many, but the ones that were chanting it were moving the needle. My father in law turned to me and said, "Hey. What are they saying? It sounds like they're saying FU!". Well, yeah, they are saying that. Both of us were surprised by that. As a reminder, there are a whole lot of families/kids who attend those games. Probably want to give that some more thought.

On tv the crowd was impressive..made a lot of noise when bama shooting free throws..

I'll take what we can get. There was not just a few people involved in that chant but probably 100+ people. I hope it doesn't carry over to more games, well that is unless it's against UCF...I'll actually get involved in that one.

I think it's time we have some sort of creative chant leader with signs of the words. Unique chants for every game that burn as much as the auburn chant.

Need a chant to do with Andy against FGCU.
