Another, kind of an "oh btw", scenario

Highest ranked team I would assume (dangerous word).

You assume correctly ... Co-champions but UCF goes to BCS bowl.

Yeah, but if Lville also runs the table, and we have a 3 way tie, I believe the highest ranking team would go to the BCS bowl...which would be Lville.

UCF is 17th and L'ville is 20th right now. It would all depend on if a win over Houston would jump the Cards over the Kanigits ...

Yes, but in the "what if" scenario, UCF loses a game...which would surely drop them lower than Lville.

But if we were to beat UCiF, they would most certainly fall behind LVille

Temple is showing how UCF can be beaten. Lots of QB mobility is the key it seems. And good defense.

UL and Cincinnati play each other at the end of the year. So one of those 2 will have a second loss regardless.

Yeah, good call. Looks like UCF needs to lose twice...unless UCF's loss is UGLY (like to a 1-8 Temple, or a thrashing by USF!), and CIncy would have to run the table impressively (they are throttling Rutgers, 38-7, first half...so they may creep closer to the Top 25 by winning.  Certainly beating Lville would jump them into the Top 25, if no more losses).

Good op for USF to jar the race.

Any ucf loss will knock them below cincy. Ucfs remaining sos will make a loss look bad. A loss to temple today surely knocks them out

I would think a loss to either Temple or USF has a good chance of dropping UCF out of some polls.  They may creep back in there at the seasons end with a win over Rutgers, but would be debatable if they would stay ahead of a CIncy team that finished with a win over the Ville to end the year.

Doh ... a minor technicality I didn't account for.

I think the part about staying ahead of Cincy would be very debatable. Is Cincy anywhere near the BCS top 25 right now?
