We need to run to be able to pass, but we need to pass to be able to run, but we should play solid special teams that way we don't need to pass or run

Exactly. Our passing game was pathetic coming into that game, and we're going to put an unproven true freshman in? That equation for any DC would equal stop the run and put pressure on the young guy. Problem is, he's a good passer and stuck over 300 yards on the board. They won, but I think the next team has to respect the numbers so our run game may open up.

More aggressive cleats may help open up the running game. So in essence, we need new cleats is what you are saying.
