Controlling most of the game in front of 92K fans at night is not luck. UCF had 507 total yards and each team had just 1 turnover. UCF was just better

UCF has a shot at going 10-2 or better and going to a BCS bowl game. They could be a lot better than we were 3 years ago.

That's what I meant.  You guys could be on a tear of good wins, but you have never had a track record like USF did beating quality teams back to back to back.  USF's issue was always with our conference foes and our coaches inability to adapt to teams that know what you are doing.  Good win at Penn State no doubt, but  come on, it should have been expected.  Look at the state of that program.  This is very special place for USF.   We've never lost like this.  Regardless of opinions that fly around this place, it sure looks like we have swapped places.  We certainly can't bottom out any more.
