I remember reading a stat a while back, that when favored to lose by 3 or 4 touchdowns, we were 50% straight up... whereas the rest of College Football was .05% percent. That was probably after the 2005 game when we did to #9 Louisville what everyone thought they would do to us. I just can't find the article now.

I don't think we have been such big underdogs since then.... what's our straight up record being 23.5 or 24 point 'dogs vs. the rest of college football? The answer may be worth looking up.

.05% percent is a pretty low number!

I had never bet on games until that stretch. It became easy money. I haven't bet for years since.

It's like the Auburn Football Prediction thread I linked in the Mich State Football Prediction thread, we used to have confidence there was a chance to win and others would overlook us. Even in losses to some bigger schools we still covered. Easy money. Now I bet on can't miss scams to free rich princes from third world prisons.

...and everyone knows it. That could be our foot back in the door. We always did better when we were ignored.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
