That needs to be dissected. I know Michigan St is doing it right now. Hell, that's easy, run up the middle. this was the worst part of the night. We are supposed to have this fierce line but mcmeese ran right up the middle. Easy. I believe that this is going to be the main focus of Taggart this week. Is it conditioning, technique, scheme etc? The talent is there, but something or things were very wrong that shouldn't have been.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Yes and it wasn't in the entire history, it was going back several decades. Don't know if there are records beyond that or if they stopped at that point. I think that's only dating back to 2000, with the creation of the BCS...The stat from last night's game isn't FCS vs FBS, it's FCS vs BCS....don't quote me on this, but I think the record for most points scored by a I-AA team against a I-A team was like 63 points in a track meet game in the 90's maybe, but there was only like a three touchdown margin of victory. We didn't just lose to McNeese. We got manhandled and blown out of the water.

Only Ga Tech and Wisc manhandled their opponents, as far as I've seen. WVU went to the very end of the game before pulling ahead. Boston College was losing to their FCS opponent too before rallying. What I read last night is that since I-A/I-AA started in 1978 USF's loss was the highest margin of victory for a I-AA school.

I sit corrected..here's a link to the box score for Cal-State Northridge's win over Boise in 1997...it was a 40 point difference, but that was before the BCS...http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/college/scoreboards/1997/08/30/finalbox.boise_st.cal_st_northridge.html

I don't understand how our fans don't see the difference. If we'd lost like most of those other schools did in a close drug out game, I would have been pissed, but eventually would have moved on because it happens. We got our TEETH KICKED IN by a FCS school. It's NOT like Kansas State, or Oregon State, or whoever.
