No way that is true. People on here said that would NEVER happen at a "real" school. And people on here know everything.

I wonder how stuff like that happens? Does no one proof / sign off on design? Surely we're not relying on the boys in the fab shop to catch this? 

 

There is very little QA, QC. We have peer review, but a lot of companies I work with submit signed and sealed documents with glaring errors.

 

I make my living off of signed and sealed...OOPS!

Or the EOR simply doesn't want to take the time in design for some issues.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if this wasn't done on purpose by some jokester at the ring company.
