If this happens, there should be riots at the NCAA headquarters and the relegated leagues should break away from the NCAA.

 

 

i have  said this long ago

 

the break up needs to start immediately

 

 

once they non big 5 schools get dumped it may be too late

I agree, the system has gotten so out of hand that a new athletic body needs to be started with an eye towards actually maintaining the ideals and integrity of college athletics. If we aren't going to make any money anyways, why allow ourselves to get pushed around and continue to be associated with such a corrupt system?

I will NEVER lose interest!

If USF never went 1A, my enthusiasm would be EQUAL.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, I am perfectly happy with where we are - 'prestige' be damned.

 

The AAC is the best fit for us right now and maybe, moving forward. 

 

Whatever happens, as long as we are in a conference of similar, like-minded urban-based schools, I will be happy.

Things in the BCS have were not 'fair'.

 

The new 'playoff' system they have developed for themselves is the furtherest thing from 'fair'.

 

That's why I've not wanted anything to do with it for a while.

Now hang on there...are you serious? Think about that for just a sec...we're talking the Citadel, Elon, Cumberland, Drake, Valaparaiso, etc. I can't honestly say that had we not been on an upward and better trajectory, that I'd be a season ticket holder of seventeen years. Maybe you don't speak with fork-ed tongue , but this 'setback' is major no matter how one whistles past the graveyard.
