Louisville was in the National Seed discussion til the BE tourney. Worthy of a host spot, for sure. Plus the selection committee likes to spread host sites around.

They finished the regular season at 46-12 on a 16 game win streak and won the regular season in the Big East. Sure the exited the Big East tourney early but, to say it's shocking or they shouldn't be hosting a regional is probably far fetched.
