Big East Baseball Tournament

I know we still have 2 games remaining with Rutgers, but there's some info coming out.

 

According to the USF baseball twitter, our first game on Wednesday will be at 8pm, regardless of our seeding. Apparently the Big East thinks we will be a big draw in the evening.

 

As of right now USF can be the #2, #3, or #4 seed, meaning we will start of with Rutgers, St Johns or Notre Dame.

Local host teams typically get preferential scheduling on the first day of the tourney, and has happened every time USF played in it in Clearwater.

They're the "regular season champ", that's all.

 

The only hardware that's awarded is for winning the tourney - THAT team will be the BE Champions.

No, they do get a trophy for being regular season champions as well.

But they don't get their picture in Times Square. If we win the BE tourney NYers will think the sky has turned green, what a great run by all of the spring sports. It's sure making August come quicker.
