6' 7', 270 lbs.  Rutgers apparently just offered him.  USF is talking to Marcus too.  Apples shouldn't fall too far from the tree... Weeki Wachee is just 60 minute drive to USF.  Rutgers is still sniffing around in USF's backyard for football recruits!

Rutgers has an application requirement. You have to learn to play dodgeball in order to be approved by their entrance committee.

LOL   anyone choosing Rutgers right now probably would not be smart enough to play for Willie T  :roflmao:

 

I know Rutgers Athletic Department has to earns its pay I hope a recruiters pay is based on hours and overtime required.....If its signed recruits...I would suggest a local 7-11...to them to help pay the rent and electric bill.

One thing interesting about Applefield is that his school, Weeki Wachee HS, is only a couple of years old...its first class of seniors graduates this spring.  The football program is next to new, not very established...Applefield is maybe kinda flying under the radar with college scouts and could be a sleeper.

Marcus got found up in little Weeki Wachee...he's got about 15 or 16 scholarship offers already, including USF.  He's big and he can move.

A 6'7" guy will be unstoppable once he gets to a D-1 program and puts on another fitty lbs.  Hope he signs with us.

Man, I love this kid. Someone brought him up and coached him right. He needs to stay home and tear it up. Weeki Watchee rules. Oh, and thanks BHSN, that really helped.
