Anyone else notice in pictures and videos from spring practice that the fences now have a black privacy screen?  I always wondered why they weren't put up before.  I would post a pic, but don't know how to post a twitter picture.

The track on campus for USF's track and field team was built as a joint project with the local Hillsborough county school board.  Local high schools use the USF track for meets regularily.  USF is pretty good about working with community's kids, but some fields have to be fenced so they don't get vandalized, etc.

Would you be writing the note to the principal to get the kiddies out of school at 9 a.m.?

Let me clarify....there have always been fences around the football practice fields, but you could see right through them.  There is now a black privacy screen.  I am guessing this was requested by the new staff or finally in the budget?  Anyone know?

Most programs have closed practices, They have the few, occassional practices open to the public , fans , media ect... but  closed practices are the norm.

We actually are more accessible than most Colleges and NFL teams for the most part.

Wish they would open the track for open running, or Campus Rec to build an outdoor track for the rest of the population.

The USF campus is over 1000 acres in area...there's plenty of room to run off the track with its expensive surface that USF can't afford to have people drag racing on.  USF's parking garages' ramps are great for hill work running!

I run all over the place, would just be nice if there was a track every now and then.  UF's track is open almost 24/7 and I don't think they have many problems.

One has to wonder if the lack of privacy screens on the border fences had any effect in the previous few seasons lack of success. As stated, it was pretty easy for someone to see right through the fence, which would be easy for a "spy" to pick up plays in practice.
